Stenson has been playing professionally for nine years and first joined the prestigious European Tour in 2001, only joining the PGA tour in 2007. Henrik Stenson has finished each since 2005 in the top ten of the European Order of Merit.

Henrik Stenson’s greatest achievement to date has was his outstanding performance at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship, which saw him walk away with the much coveted trophy, leaving an astonished Geoff Ogilvy in second place. Winning this event boosted him to fifth place in the official world golf rankings, the highest ever ranking for a Swedish player. The victory also took him to the top of the European Order of Merit.
