2008 US PGA Championship Spectator GuideTiger Woods fans watch the play during the third round of the 89th PGA Championship at the Southern Hills Country Club on August 11, 2007 in Tulsa, Oklahoma

The PGA of America and Oakland Hills Country Club want to make sure that the experience of the 90th PGA Championship is a fantastic one for all its guests.

They ask that everyone help make this happen by observing proper golf etiquette and decorum. This includes drinking alcoholic beverages responsibly, obeying the marshals, never running, applauding good shots and acting in a considerate manner toward all PGA Championship contestants and fellow patrons.

A detailed and printable PDF of the Spectator Guide will be made available on the 2008 PGA Championship website but includes the following guidance and information.

Admission Policy

There will be no daily re-admission to the grounds of the PGA Championship. If you leave the grounds, you must have a full ticket to return to the PGA Championship. Once the bottom of the ticket has been removed or scanned, it will no longer provide admission to the PGA Championship.

The only exception is when the Weather Warning signs are posted, which requires an evacuation of the golf course. Please wear your ticket in plain view at all times as security personnel will not allow admission to the PGA Championship for individuals without appropriate credentials.

Autograph Policy

Autographs may be requested and given at the player's convenience at the Practice Range and Putting Green during the Practice Rounds. For the player's consideration, a NO AUTOGRAPH POLICY will be enforced on the grounds of Oakland Hills Country Club during the Championship Rounds.

Camera Policy

Cameras are only allowed onside for the Practice Rounds. They are not permitted at Oakland Hills Country Club during the Championship Rounds. Camera phones are prohibited at all times.

Concession / Beverage Stands and First Aid stations

Concession stands and First Aid stations will be located across the grounds at specific points to be confirmed.

If the need for medical assistance should occur, please notify the nearest PGA Championship Volunteer. They will be easily identified by their bright blue and white striped golf shirts.

Grandstands

Locations of the grandstands will include many of the holes and the practice range. Access to all grandstands is on a first-come, first-served basis and is free for all spectators. Wheelchair accessible viewing areas will be located near the Practice Range and on the 1st Tee. Several seats on the first row of every grandstand are also reserved for the physically challenged.

The following items will not be permitted on the grounds of Oakland Hills Country Club:

Public and handicapped accessible restrooms will be available at multiple locations.

The Trophy Presentation Ceremony

The Wanamaker Trophy Presentation Ceremony will take place on the 18th green immediately following the end of play on Sunday. In the event of a tie for first place after 72 holes, there will be a three hole aggregate score play-off on holes 13, 17, and 18. If the scores remain tied at the conclusion of the play-off, a hole by hole play-off will take place until the tie is broken. The Wanamaker Trophy Presentation Ceremony will immediately follow the play-off.
